Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill L96)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill L96)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill L83 L86)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill L83 L86)
  2. Evacuate the refrigerant system. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134A)Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf)
  3. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery)
  4. Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  5. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (6-Lug Wheel)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (8-Lug Wheel) [2x].
