Preliminary Procedures Remove the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Cadillac) . Remove the front fender rear upper brace. Refer to Front Fender Rear Upper Brace Replacement . Remove the auxiliary battery and battery tray. Refer to Auxiliary Battery Tray Replacement Remove the hood hinge. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement . Remove the underhood electrical center junction block. Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Bracket Replacement Remove the left wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Cadillac) . Remove the assist step. Refer to Assist Step Replacement (Step Pad - BRS)Assist Step Replacement (Assembly - BRS)Assist Step Replacement (BVE-Short Wheel Base)Assist Step Replacement (BVE-Long Wheel Base)
1	Left Front Fender Bolt (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft) NOTE: Apply threadlock compound to the bolts.
2	Left Front Fender Inner Panel Bolt (Qty: 4) Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
3	Left Front Fender Nut (Qty: 2) Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
4	Left Front Fender Reposition the hood cable. Reposition the windshield washer hose. Transfer any necessary additional parts as needed.
