Headlamp And Radiator Grille Mount Panel Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front bumper impact bar. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement (GMC)Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement (Chevrolet)Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement (Cadillac) .
2. Remove the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (GMC)Headlamp Replacement (Chevrolet)Headlamp Replacement (Cadillac)
3. Remove the front bumper shutter. Refer to Front Bumper Shutter Replacement (Upper,)Front Bumper Shutter Replacement (Lower)Front Bumper Shutter Replacement (Mechanical, Cadillac)
4. Remove the front right and left hand wheelhouse panel. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Cadillac)Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (GMC)Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Chevrolet) , Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (Cadillac)Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (Chevrolet)Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (GMC)
5. Remove the hood latch. Refer to Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement .
6. Reposition the hood primary and secondary latch cable.
7. Disconnect ground from the frame if equipped.
8. Disconnect electrical harness as needed.
