When a hood hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.

Preliminary Procedures Open the hood and support the side being serviced.
1 Hood Open Assist Spring Bolt (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
22 N.m (16 lb ft)
