Preliminary Procedure
- Remove the front wheelhouse liner-left side. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Cadillac)

- Remove the auxiliary battery tray. Refer to Auxiliary Battery Tray Replacement

Windshield Washer Solvent Container Bolt (Qty: 3)
Tighten
9 N.m (80 lb in)
Procedure
Remove the bolt near the top of the windshield washer solvent container prior to raising the vehicle. |

Windshield Washer Solvent Container Procedure
- Place a clean suitable drain pan under the windshield washer pump area to recover the windshield washer solvent when the windshield washer pump hose and rear window washer solvent container hose are disconnected.
- Disconnect the windshield washer pump hose from the windshield washer pump and disengage the pump hose from the windshield washer solvent container.
- Disconnect the rear window washer solvent container hose from the rear window washer pump and disengage the container hose from the windshield washer solvent container.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield washer solvent level sensor.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear window washer pump.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield washer pump.
- Remove the windshield washer solvent container from the vehicle.
- Empty the windshield washer solvent into a suitable clean container.
- Transfer parts as needed.
