Wiring harness for the sensor system of cylinder bank 2
- Guide in and position wiring harness for sensor system of cylinder bank 2.
- Connect and lock the plug connection for the knock sensors (2) .
- The wiring harness mountings must be released (1)
.
- Connect and lock the connector of the exhaust VANOS solenoid actuator (1) .
- Connect and lock the intake VANOS solenoid actuator (4) .
- Secure the wiring harness mounting (2) .
- Tighten down screw (3)
.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Heater return M6x18 Tightening torque 8 Nm - Secure the wiring harness for the sensor system of cylinder bank 2 to the holders in areas (2) .
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
- Connect the wiring harness bracket at the area (1)
and lock.
- Secure the wiring harness for the sensor system of cylinder bank 2 in the holders in areas (1)
.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
- Secure the wiring harness for the sensor system of cylinder bank 2 in the holder (2)
.
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
- Secure the wiring harness for the sensor system of cylinder bank 2 in the holders in areas (1)
.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
- Secure the wiring harness for the sensor system of cylinder bank 2 in the holders in area of arrows.
- Position the grounding point (3) .
- Tighten down screw (2)
.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
- Tighten down screw (2) .
- Secure the wiring harness for the sensor system of cylinder bank 2 in the holder in area (3) .
- Tighten down screw (2) .
- Position the grounding point (5) .
- Position the grounding point (6) .
- Tighten the screws (4)
.
- Secure the wiring harness mounting in area (1) .
- Connect connectors (2)
and lock.
- Ensure that the connector of the high pressure pump is (1) not interchanged with the connector of the intake air temperature sensor.
- Make marks if there are no colored marks (3)
on the plug connections of the high pressure pump.
If necessary, identify the connectors by means of the cable colors in area (2) on the wiring diagram.
- Ensure that the connector of the intake air temperature sensor is (1) not interchanged with the connector of the high pressure pump.
- If necessary, identify the connectors using the wiring diagram and the cable colors in the area (2)
.
- Secure the wiring harness for the sensor system of cylinder bank 2 in the holder in area (1)
.
- Secure the wiring harness for the sensor system of cylinder bank 2 in the holders in areas (1)
.
- Fix wiring harness mountings (1) .
- Connect connectors (2) and lock.
