  • Central junction box (CJB) fuse(s):
    • 6 (15A).
    • 15 (15A).
    • 21 (15A).
    • 23 (15A).
    • 27 (20A).
  • Lighting control module (LCM).
  • Circuitry.
 REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULE .
Incorrect fuel gauge indication
  • Circuitry.
  • Fuel indicator module.
  • Fuel pump module.
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST A .
Incorrect temperature gauge indication
  • Circuitry.
  • Engine coolant temperature sender.
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST B .
Incorrect oil pressure gauge indication
  • Circuitry.
  • Engine oil pressure switch.
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST C .
The LOW FUEL warning indicator is never/always on
  • Fuel indicator module.
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST D .
The speedometer/odometer is inoperative
  • Output shaft speed sensor (OSS).
  • Circuitry.

 Go To PINPOINT TEST E .
The safety belt warning indicator is inoperative (chime is operative)

  • Safety Belt buckle switch.

The charge system warning indicator is never on
  • Central junction box (CJB) fuse 14 (10A).

The charging system warning indicator is always on
  • Circuitry.

 REFER to GENERATORS & REGULATORS .
The BRAKE warning indicator is never on

  • BRAKE warning indicator minature bulb.
  • Parking brake switch.
  • Brake fluid level switch.
  • Ignition switch.
  • Indicator lamp module.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST H .
The BRAKE warning indicator is always on
  • Circuitry.
  • Base brake system.
  • Parking brake switch.
  • Brake fluid level switch.
  • Ignition switch.
  • Indicator lamp module.
 REFER to BRAKE SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
The CHECK ENGINE indicator is never on
  • Circuitry.
  • Powertrain control module (PCM).
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST I .
The CHECK ENGINE indicator is always on
  • Circuitry.
  • Powertrain control module (PCM).
  • Instrument cluster.
 REFER to SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - CNG, FLEX-FUEL & GASOLINE .
The AIR BAG warning indicator is never on
  • Circuitry.
  • AIR BAG warning indicator miniature bulb.
  • Indicator lamp module.
  • Restraint control module (RCM).
 Go To PINPOINT TEST J .
The AIR BAG warning indicator is always on
  • Circuitry.
  • Indicator lamp module.
  • Restraint control module (RCM).
 REFER to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS .
The CHECK AIR SUSPENSION indicator is inoperative/always on
  • Battery junction box (BJB) fuse 8 (30A).
  • Circuitry.
  • Air suspension module.
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST K .
The LH turn indicator is inoperative/always on
  • Circuitry.
  • Multifunction switch.
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST L .
The RH turn indicator is inoperative/always on
  • Circuitry.
  • Multifunction switch.
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST M .
The high beam indicator is never on
  • Circuitry.

  • Multifunction switch.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST N .
The TRAC CNTL (traction control) indicator is never/always on
  • Circuitry.
  • Traction control indicator miniature bulb.
  • Indicator lamp module.
  • Anti-lock brake system/traction control (ABS/TC) module.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST O .
The OVERDRIVE OFF indicator is never on
  • Circuitry.
  • Powertrain control module (PCM).
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST P .
The anti-lock brake system (ABS) indicator is never on
  • Circuitry.
  • ABS indicator miniature bulb.
  • Indicator lamp module.
  • Anti-lock brake system/traction control (ABS/TC) module.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST Q .
The anti-lock brake system (ABS) indicator is always on
  • Circuitry.
  • Indicator lamp module.
  • Anti-lock brake system/traction control (ABS/TC) module.
 REFER to ANTI-LOCK CONTROL-TRACTION CONTROL .
The fail-safe cooling indicator is never on
  • Circuitry.
  • Engine coolant temperature sender.

 Go To PINPOINT TEST R .
The DOOR AJAR indicator is never on
  • Circuitry.
  • Driver door module (DDM).

The TRUNK AJAR indicator is never on
  • Circuitry.
  • Luggage compartment release solenoid.

The LOW WASHER FLUID indicator is never on
  • Circuitry.
  • Windshield washer low fluid switch.

The hazard indicator is never on
