- Mask off the hood at the corners.
- Let the hood fall maximum 30-40 cm when closing it.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
To ensure the quality of the Driver Assistance functions in vehicles with concealed radar sensors, the component may only be repainted in compliance with the following instructions:
No stickers or films (transparent or colored) may be affixed in the transmission areas of the radar sensors.
If there are no radar sensors fitted, the component may be painted.
The following features can be used to identify whether radar sensors are installed on the vehicle:
Radar sensors are installed at the rear if the triangular warning lamp is present on the exterior mirror (in the mirror glass or on the mirror frame).
Radar sensors are installed at the front and rear if the triangular warning light is present on the exterior mirror (in the mirror glass or on the mirror frame) in conjunction with optional equipment S5ATA or S5AUA.
To ensure the quality of the Driver Assistance functions in vehicles with concealed radar sensors, the component may only be repainted in compliance with the following instructions:

- Replace the holder for Park Distance Control (PDC).

- Clean holder (1) in the adhesive area.
- Apply adhesive to holder (1) in the area of the dotted line.

- Clean the bumper cover in the adhesive area.
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

- Install holder (1) and position it properly.
- Mount the metal clip on lug (2) .

| Clamp | 7.8 x 0.6 mm, Slot | 51417464302 |
- Mount the lock washer on centering pin (3) .
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION
| Lock washer | 11.5 mm, Outer diameter 64118247773 4 mm, Shaft diameter |
- Check if holder (1) fits tightly on the bumper cover.
- Remove the lid (1) and mount it on the front bumper cover.
