(Installing the reinforcement for the left and right side of the bumper cover)

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

• Clean the bonding surfaces on reinforcement (2) and on the bumper cover.

• Affix adhesive strip (1) on reinforcement (2).

• Install reinforcement (3) and snap it into detents (arrows).
• Press reinforcement (3) on adhesive strip (4) firmly.
• Tighten down screw (2).

  Screw for thermoplastics	Tightening torque	2.3 Nm

• Mount the blind rivet (1) using the special tool 0 496 521 (00 2 230). 
• Secure wiring harness (2) to the reinforcement.
• Connect connectors (1) and lock.
