(Removing the reinforcement for the bumper cover on the left and right side)

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
Release wiring harness (2) from the reinforcement.

Remove blind rivets (1).
Release the screw (2).
Release reinforcement (3) from the detents (arrows).
Release and remove reinforcement (3) from adhesive strip (4).
Remove any adhesive residue from the bumper cover.
