(Removing the reinforcement for the left and right bumper cover (M Aerodynamics package))

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Release the wiring harness (1) from the reinforcement and disconnect all the existing plug connections.

Remove blind rivets (1).
Release the screw (2).
Release reinforcement (3) from the detents (arrows).
Release and remove reinforcement (3) from adhesive strip (4).
Remove any adhesive residue from the bumper cover.
