When replacing the dashboard trim panel: Remount components

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Damage of high-quality surfaces. 
Plastic wedges can damage high-quality surfaces. 
  • Protect surfaces from damage.
NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
Wheel alignment is not necessary after removal, installation or replacement.

Preliminary work 

Remove tweeter in the dashboard

Removing the glove compartment damper

Installing the front passenger airbag 

WARNING: Airbag unit. 
Danger! Immobilization period-threatening injuries!

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
The screw connection of the front passenger airbag is always done independent  of the previous attachment point on the vehicle exterior  , refer to position 1  .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Front passenger airbag to dashboard
Oval-head screw tightening torque  2 Nm
