REMOVING Remove     
1 Detach ground line from on-board electrical system battery.

2 Remove outer door handle (3) from tailgate.    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   IMPORTANT Removed door handle (3) is no longer required. AR72.20-S-7320E
3 Remove rear bumper.

4 Remove rear headliner.

5 Remove right A-pillar trim.

6 Remove front headliner.

7 Remove right cover below instrument panel.

8 Remove radio (Audio) (N87/2).

    IMPORTANT Do not detach electrical connections.  
9 Remove left cover under instrument panel.

12 Retrofit camera cover (KAB) control unit (N144). IMPORTANT The camera cover (KAB) control unit (N144) is used for controlling the reversing camera. AN54.65-S-0030-01E 
13 Install reversing camera (RFK) control unit (B84/3) into door handle (3) included with parts kit. IMPORTANT The reversing camera is integrated into the reversing camera (RFK) control unit (B84/3). AN54.65-S-0030-12E 
14 Install left cover below instrument panel.

15 Install radio (audio) (N87/2).

20 Install rear bumper.

22 Attach ground line to on-board electrical system battery.

23 Add special equipment to Vehicle Documentation System (VeDoc). IMPORTANT Designation of corresponding special equipment: Code FR8 (Reversing camera).  
24 Perform SCN coding on electronic ignition lock (EZS) control unit (N73).    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR54.21-S-0015E 
    IMPORTANT Under the "Control unit adaptations" menu item, follow the instructions for "SCN coding"
IMPORTANT Do not remove diagnostic system yet.		  
25 Perform SCN coding on radio (audio) (N87/2).    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   IMPORTANT Under the "Control unit adaptations" menu item, follow the instructions for "SCN coding"
IMPORTANT Do not remove diagnostic system yet.		 AR54.21-S-0015E 
26 Perform SCN coding on camera cover (KAB) control unit (N144).

27 Commission reversing camera (RFK) control unit/(B84/3).    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory IMPORTANT In the "Control unit adaptations" menu item, follow the "Commission previously-installed control unit" instructions AD00.00-S-2000-04E
28 Remove diagnostic system.    
INSPECT Check     
29 Perform function check of reversing camera.
