| 1 | Temporarily store basic data of radio (Audio) (N87/2) in the vehicle diagnosis system. | Only when replacing the radio (audio) (N87/2). | |

| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 3 | Remove center instrument panel cover. | AR68.10-S-3430E | |
| 4 | Unscrew screws (1). | ||
| 5 | Pull radio (Audio) (N87/2) far enough out of device installation frame until the electrical connectors (2) are accessible. | ||
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connectors (2) and remove radio (Audio) (N87/2). | ||
| Install | |||
| 7 | Connect electrical connectors (2) and insert radio (Audio) (N87/2) into device installation frame. | ||
| 8 | Tighten screws (1). | ||
| 9 | Install center instrument panel cover. | AR68.10-S-3430E | |
| 10 | Transfer temporarily stored basic data to the new radio (Audio) (N87/2) and perform commissioning of radio (Audio) (N87/2). | Only when replacing the radio (audio) (N87/2). | |
