	Disconnect, connect
1	Disconnect charging cable connector of high-voltage on-board electrical system and wait 30 s until power-down is complete.	Model 447 with engine 780 If high-voltage on-board electrical system is charged via a charging cable connector.
2	Disconnect charger from on-board electrical system battery (G1).	When an external charger is connected.
3	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
4.1	Unclip storage compartment (1) at right seat box, starting at top, and remove.	Model 447.8, 448.8 Long wedge	Fig 1
4.2	Remove side cover (4) from right seat box.	Model 447.6/7, 448.7 To do so, release catch hooks (arrows A), tilt cover forward and guide out.
5	Detach negative pole clamp screw (3) and remove ground line (2) from on-board electrical system battery (G1).	Do not pull on the ground line (2). Otherwise, the battery sensor (B95) may be damaged. Bolt, ground line to negative terminal for on-board electrical system battery/additional battery	*BA54.10-Z-1001-01KOF

6	Check for absence of voltage on 12 V on-board electrical system.	Model 447 with code ME0 (Electric motor 85 kW) Model 447 with code ME4 (Electric motor 145 kW)
	Service Information: Determine absence of voltage of 12 V on-board electrical system after removing the ground or positive line of the on-board electrical system battery		SI54.10-S-0072A

7	Detach ground line from auxiliary battery. 10	Connect in reverse order.
11	Set time and date in instrument cluster or in driver display.
