1. Remove plug housing at power supply plug of vehicle interior (7).
2. Remove cable duct (11) at electrical wiring harness of liftgate (1).

   The cable duct (11) is no longer required.

3. Loosen cable duct (9) at rear roof frame and liftgate with long wedge.
4. Route electrical wiring harness of liftgate (1), as shown, in liftgate through cable duct (9) and up to right D-pillar.

   Do not kink the liftgate electrical wiring harness (1) and ensure that it is routed without chafing.

   This prevents damage.

   Model 447.7 with code V23 (Interior trim, superior version) Model 447.8

   To do so, pull the headliner (10) down carefully in the routing area.

5. Reinstall plug housing at power supply plug of vehicle interior (7).
6. Attach supplied plug housing to control unit plug of camera cover (5).
7. Secure liftgate electrical wiring harness (1) section by section to factory-installed electrical wiring harness using cable ties.

   The camera contact socket (2), the power supply plug of the camera (3) and the power supply plug of the door handle (4, 8) are only installed when the door handle is installed. The camera cover control unit plug (5) is only attached when the camera cover (KAB) control unit (N144) is installed. The camera contact socket (6) and the power supply plug of the vehicle interior (7) are only installed after the vehicle interior electrical wiring harness has been routed.

8. Attach cable duct (9) to rear roof frame and liftgate.
