	Remove
1	Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.
			AR54.10-S-0003E
2	Remove radio installation opening cover (7).	To do so, detach the radio pre-installation electrical connector (X39/67) and black antenna connector (10) from the radio installation opening cover (7). The removed radio installation opening cover (7) is no longer required and must be handed over to the customer.

3	Remove center instrument panel cover.

4	Remove cover for slot (9) from cover of center instrument panel.	The slot cover (9) is no longer required and must be handed over to the customer.
5	Remove storage compartment (8) from instrument panel.	To do this, remove screws (11). The screws (11) of the removed storage compartment (8) are used for securing the CNS head unit (1). The storage compartment (8) is no longer required and must be handed over to the customer.
6	Detach center instrument panel speaker (H4/27).
		Do not disconnect electrical wiring plugs.	AR82.62-S-7833E
7	Remove cover under left instrument panel.

8	Remove right A-pillar trim.

15	Retrofit connecting cables for CNS head unit (1).	The connecting cables for the CNS head unit (1) consist of supplied USB connection cables (5) and USB cover (12).	AZ82.85-S-0008-03E
16	Prepare CNS head unit (1) for installation.	For this purpose, use the CNS head unit (1), cover (2) and supplied screws.	AZ82.85-S-0008-01E
17	Retrofit CAN cable with adapter (6) for CNS head unit (1).	Install the CAN cable with adapter (6) with supplied antenna adapter.	AZ82.85-S-0008-05E

21	Make basic settings on CNS head unit (1).	To do so, operate parking brake. This enables the setting to be made on the CNS head unit (1) in the control menu.

		Make sure that the USB cover (12) with USB ports is correctly engaged in the installation opening of the center instrument panel cover.
