Connect And Install Communication And Navigation System (CNS) - AZ82.85-S-0008-02E

Connection scheme

1. Model 447.6/7

   with code FR8 (Rear view camera)

   Install blue connector socket (22) of adapter cable (21) at green connect socket holder (23) of reversing camera.

2. Remove cable tie (13) at main wiring harness (14).
3. Route main wiring harness (14) in device installation frame inward and fix in place with cable ties (13) at crossmember under instrument panel.

   This allows installation in the device installation frame.

4. Guide electrical lines outward as shown.

   This facilitates connecting the electric lines.

   with code EN6 (Audio 10)

   except code ER0 (Radio, prewiring)

   Model 447.6/7

   with code EN7 (Audio 15)

   except code ER0 (Radio, prewiring)

   Attach blue connector socket (6.2) of CNS head unit (1) to black antenna coupling (9).

6. Attach black plug (4.2) of CNS head unit (1) to black plug holder (3.1).

   To do so, bring CNS head unit (1) into the area of the device installation frame.

   Attach antenna adapter (6) of CNS head unit (1) to black aerial coupling (9).

8. Attach green connector socket (10) of GPS antenna to CNS head unit (1).
9. Attach jack plug (11) of hands-free system microphone to CNS head unit (1).
10. Install USB plug (12) according to the markings made previously.

    USB ports are marked by impressed numbering 1 and 2 on the back of the CNS head unit (1).

11. Model 447.6/7

    with code FR8 (Rear view camera)

    Attach components plug (16) of reversing camera to CNS head unit (1).

    Use brown component input at CNS head unit (1).

12. Attach connector socket (17) of digital radio (DAB) antenna to CNS head unit (1).

    When retrofitting CNS head unit (1) with DAB.

13. Install CNS head unit (1) with cover (18).

    Make sure that no electric lines and component parts become damaged when inserting the CNS head unit (1). Otherwise this can lead, among other things, to malfunctions of the CNS head unit (1).

    Here, guide all attached electric lines in device installation frame toward rear.

14. Fix CNS head unit (1) in place with screws (19, 20).

    Use screws (19, 20) of the previously removed audio components.
