Retrofit Connecting Cable Of Communication And Navigation System (CNS) - AZ82.85-S-0008-03E

Model 447.6/7 

1. Route USB connection cable (2), as shown, from installation location of USB plugs (2.2) to installation area of Communication and Navigation System (CNS) head unit behind device installation frame (6).
2. Fix USB connection cables (2) in place in area of device installation frame (6) using cable ties.

   Strap down the excess length of the USB connection cables (2). Make sure that the line lengths of the USB connection cables (2) are sufficient for installation of the CNS head unit.

   The USB plugs (2.2) of the USB connection cables (2) are attached when the CNS head unit is installed.

3. Mark USB connection cables (2) just behind USB plugs (2.2) by attaching supplied adhesive labels (4, 5).

   The upper USB port (2.1) in the center instrument panel cover (3) must be specified as "PORT1" and the lower USB port (2.1) as "PORT2".

   The following operation steps are not performed until the center instrument panel cover (3) is installed.

4. Guide USB connectors (2.1) with USB connection cables (2) through opening of center instrument panel cover (3).
5. Insert both USB connectors (2.1) in same direction (arrows) into side cutouts of USB cover (1).

   Carefully insert the USB connectors (2.1) into the USB cover (1) without applying excessive pressure.

   Otherwise the fasteners of the USB cover (1) may break or be damaged.

   The upper USB port (2.1) in the USB cover (1) must be specified as "PORT1" and the lower USB port (2.1) as "PORT2".

6. Insert USB cover (1) into opening of center instrument panel cover (3).

   The open side of the USB cover (1) must face the outside of the center instrument panel cover (3).
