1. Bend metal base (1) by approx. 90°

   as shown.

   Observe dimension (A).

   The metal base (1) is included in the parts kit.

2. Place metal base (1) on instrument panel with positive fit, as shown, and bond to surface.

   The bonding area for the metal base (1) on the instrument panel must be dry and free of dust and grease.

   This helps to prevent adhesion problems.

   To do so, remove the protective foil from the metal base (1).

3. Place GPS antenna (2) on metal base (1), as shown, and bond to surface.

   To do so, bond double-sided adhesive tape to the GPS antenna (2) and remove the protective foil from the adhesive tape.

4. Route electric line of GPS antenna (2), as shown, in instrument panel to installation location of Communication and Navigation System (CNS) head unit.

   Do not kink the electric line of the GPS antenna (2) and ensure chafe-free routing.

   Prevent damage.

5. Secure electric line of GPS antenna (2) section by section to factory-installed electrical wiring harness using cable ties.

   The green connector socket (3) on the electric line of the GPS antenna (2) is attached during installation of the CNS head unit.
