	Remove/install
1	Unclip and lower overhead control panel (OCP [DBE]) control unit (N70)	Insert long wedge (1) between overhead control panel (OCP [DBE]) control unit (N70) and headliner and push back lock (2). Ensure that wiring harnesses are routed properly. Long wedge	Fig 1
2	Detach electrical connections (3)	The number of electrical connectors (3) can vary depending on the equipment.
3	Remove overhead control panel (OCP [DBE]) control unit (N70) from headliner
4	Install in the reverse order
5	Initialize anti-theft alarm system (ATA [EDW]) control unit with diagnostic system	Model 447 with code FY1 (Anti-Theft Protection package) Model 447 with code FZ5 (Anti-theft alarm system) When replacing the overhead control panel (OCP [DBE]) control unit (N70).

6	Normalize sliding roof	Model 447 with code D27 (Electric tilting/sliding glass sunroof) Model 447 with code ZK7 (Equipment line MARCO POLO)
7	Normalize panoramic sliding roof	Model 447, 448 with code D34 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof)
	Check
8	Carry out function test of all systems to be operated by the overhead control panel (OCP [DBE]) control unit (N70)
