- Adhere to the utmost cleanliness.
- Protect components from contamination e.g. by covering.
- Close off line connections with seal plugs.
- Replace the seal (1)
.
Parts: Seal
- Check the seal (1)
on the charge air cooler (2)
for damage, replace it if necessary.
- Clean sealing surface (1) with special tool 0 495 102 (11 4 470)
.
- Guide in the right intake plenum (2) and install it.
- Tighten the screws (2)
.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Intake plenum M8 screw Tightening torque 21.4 Nm - Tighten the screws (1)
.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Intake plenum M6 screw Tightening torque 10 Nm - Connect and lock the connector of the intake air temperature sensor.
- Fasten the wiring harness section (4) at the clamp (arrowed).
- Fasten the plug connector (3) using the clamp (arrowed).
- Connect connectors (2)
and lock.
The connector (2) must engage audibly.
- Secure the positive battery cable (1)
at the clamp (arrowed).
- Connect connectors (2)
and lock.
The connector (2) must engage audibly.
- Connect and lock tank vent line (1)
.
The tank vent line (1) must engage audibly.
- Lock clamp (1)
.
Clamp (1) must engage audibly.
