Tightening the VANOS central valve of the intake adjuster
- Have the special tool 0 496 855
ready.
- Have the special tool 2 450 487
ready.
- Have the special tool 2 469 138
ready.
- Keep a standard torque wrench (1)
ready.
- Have all the special tools and standard tools ready.

NOTE:
The figure shows the rear of the engine.
- Tighten the VANOS central valve (1) of the intake adjuster.
