1	Secure vehicle against rolling away, shift transmission to neutral position, and release parking brake.
2	Deactivate easy entry and exit feature.	Engine 176 in model 223 with code 275 (Memory Package (driver's seat, steering column and mirror))
3	Secure vehicle on vehicle lift.		AR00.60-P-1006A
4	Pump pneumatic suspension strut pressure into central reservoir using diagnostic system.
			AD00.00-P-2000-06FR
		The complete wheels must not touch the ground. Suspension struts can otherwise be predamaged and subsequently fail. Select menu item "Actuations" in active suspension and damping system control unit. Pump pneumatic pressure using vehicle diagnosis system from central reservoir to suspension struts.
5.1	Disconnect ground line from the on-board electrical system battery (G1).	Engine 176 in model 223 except code 490 (Electrohydraulic suspension)	AR54.10-P-0051S

	Concluding tasks
	Risk of burn injuries  , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it.
