Reduce Fuel Pressure Through Service Valve - AR07.03-P-1460-01SC

Engine 176 in model 223 

DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel. No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

  1. Unscrew cover (3) from service connection of fuel distributor.
  2. Place end of SPECIAL TOOL pressure hose (1) in a suitable container.
  3. Tighten union nut (2) of SPECIAL TOOL pressure hose (1) on service connection, relieve fuel pressure and collect escaping fuel.
  4. Remove union nut (2) of SPECIAL TOOL pressure hose (1) from service connection.
  5. Tighten new cover (3) on service connection of fuel distributor TORQUE SPECIFICATION .
