Remove/install crankshaft - AR03.20-P-4351SXI

    INSTALLATION NOTES
The connecting rods (11) are cracked (broken) (magnified section). Dimensional accuracy of connecting rods (11) can no longer be guaranteed after opening, therefore new connecting rods must be fitted after removal. Engine damage may result.
INSTALLATION NOTES
The connecting rods are delivered with assembly bolts and have to be replaced by connecting rod bolts (12) with an assembly locking element.
This avoids loosening.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT The anti-twist locks (14) of the connecting rod bearing shells (13) must be located in the grooves (15) in the connecting rod (11) and the connecting rod bearing cap (16).

15 Remove crankshaft bearing caps (4, 10) and fitted bearing (5)   AR03.20-P-4351-02TI
    INSTALLATION NOTES
The crankshaft bearing bolts (M11) (8) and the side crankshaft bearing bolts (M10) (9) must be replaced.
Otherwise there is risk of breakage.
IMPORTANT Follow loosening procedure.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Tighten the crankshaft bearing bolts (M11) (8) and the side crankshaft bearing bolts (M10) (9) evenly according to the tightening procedure.
 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, crankshaft bearing cap to crankshaft bearing body *BA03.20-P-1001-01E 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Side screw/bolt, crankshaft housing to crankshaft bearing cap *BA03.20-P-1002-01E 
16 Remove crankshaft bearing caps (4, 10) and fitted bearing (5) IMPORTANT Carefully pry out crankshaft bearing cap (4, 10) and fitted bearing (5).
IMPORTANT Before removing mark the crankshaft bearing caps (4, 10) and fitted bearing (5).
 
17 Take crankshaft (1) out of cylinder crankcase    
18 Take crankshaft bearing shells with oil holes and oil grooves (2) out of cylinder crankcase INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Lubricate crankshaft journals and crankshaft bearing shells with oil holes and oil grooves (2).  
19 Remove thrust plates (6) from cylinder crankcase IMPORTANT Observe installation position.  
20 Install in the reverse order
