	Remove
1	Completely open crank windows on driver's door and front passenger door.	Crank window in driver and passenger door must be open completely. Otherwise the carbon roof (7) is pressed toward the outside by the air pressure when closing a door during the curing time of the adhesive.
2	Remove trim from the A-pillar.		AR68.30-P-4050RG
3	Remove trim from C-pillar.		AR68.30-P-4490RG
4	Remove rear roof lining.		AR68.30-P-7608RG
5	Remove center roof lining.		AR68.30-P-7609RG
6	Remove front roof lining.		AR68.30-P-7607RG
7	Unclip left and right roof trim strips.	Mounting wedge	Fig 1
8	Mask off all paint surfaces adjacent to carbon roof (7) with protective foil.	Protect paint surfaces against damage and contamination. Otherwise scratches or score marks as well as contamination when applying the adhesive can occur when cutting the adhesive seams or when removing or inserting the carbon roof (7).
9	Cut out seal strip (4) of carbon roof (7) between carbon roof (7) and windshield (5) (area A).	Carefully cut out seal strip (4). Otherwise the seal on the windshield (5) can be damaged : Always replace carbon roof (7) by cutting seal strip (4) If seal of windshield (5) is damaged: ↓ Replace windshield (5).	AR67.10-P-1000RG
10	Open tailgate and insert cutting wire (6) at point (B) through adhesively bonded connection (hatched area).	Commercially available tools Cutting wire
11	Cut adhesively bonded connection (hatched area) from starting point (B) in direction of arrow to end point (C).	Carefully cut adhesive connection (crosshatched area). Otherwise the body can be damaged Aid of helper required.
12	Lift carbon roof (7) with cup suction tools and remove.	Aid of helper required.
	Preparation
13	Prepare mating surfaces on vehicle for center roof paneling.	Before starting work, all components, materials and tools must be prepared for installing the carbon roof (7). Otherwise, it may not be possible to observe permissible processing and joining times.	AR65.10-P-1000-08RG
14	Prepare center roof paneling.	Always replace carbon roof (7).	AR65.10-P-1000-03RG
	Install
15	Apply adhesive material for carbon roof (7) to body flange.		AR65.10-P-1000-07RG
		Apply adhesive material to body flange on vehicle side within 25 min. Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection (crosshatched area) can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.	AR67.10-P-1000-08P
		Repair kit for installing windshields, 1-component adhesive	*BR00.45-Z-1135-02A
16	Position carbon roof (7) on body flange with cup suction tools, align according to gap dimensions, and fix in place.	After applying adhesive material, position carbon roof (7) on body flange within 10 min. and fix in place in final installation position. Otherwise required adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured. After gluing in carbon roof (7), do not move vehicle for at least 10 hours. Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection (crosshatched area) can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured Aid of helper required.	AR60.00-P-0700-01RG

17	Remove protective foils from roof.	After curing time of adhesive material.
18	Clip in left and right roof trim strips.	After curing time of adhesive material.
19	Install front roof lining.	After curing time of adhesive material.	AR68.30-P-7607RG
20	Install center roof lining.	After curing time of adhesive material.	AR68.30-P-7609RG
21	Install rear roof lining.	After curing time of adhesive material.	AR68.30-P-7608RG
22	Install trim on C-pillar.	After curing time of adhesive material.	AR68.30-P-4490RG
23	Install trim on A-pillar.	After curing time of adhesive material.	AR68.30-P-4050RG
	Check
24	Perform function test of the systems that are influenced by the previous work procedure.
