	Risk of injury  from cutting wire tearing or becoming hot and from splinters of glass when cutting out bonded windows	Wear protective gloves and safety glasses.	AS67.00-Z-0004-01A
	Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.	When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A

	Preparation
1	Prepare 1-component adhesive		AR67.10-P-1000-12SX
		Heating time is approx. 60 minutes. Repair kit for installing windshields, 1-component adhesive	*BR00.45-Z-1135-02A

2	Open side window in driver door	The side window of the driver door should remain open during the curing time. Otherwise the windshield (1) can be pressed toward outside by the air when a door is closed.
	Remove
3	Remove detachable parts in area of windshield (1)		AR67.10-P-1050RG
4	Cover dashboard	To protect against dirt and damage.
5	Cut out windshield (1) with window removal tool and remove	Helper required to separate windshield (1).	AR67.10-P-1000-11SX
	Clean
6	Clean passenger compartment
	Install
7	Prepare body flange for installation of window		AR67.10-P-1501-01RG
		Repair kit for installing windshields, 1-component adhesive	*BR00.45-Z-1135-02A
		Primer stick	*BR00.45-Z-1012-07A
8	Prepare windshield (1) for installation		AR67.10-P-1000-03RG
		The bonding area on the windshield (1) must be absolutely free of dust and grease. Otherwise the adhesive force of the adhesive material starts to decrease. Repair kit for installing windshields, 1-component adhesive	*BR00.45-Z-1135-02A
9	Replace rubber window spacers	Remove protective foil from rubber window spacers only on one side.	AR67.10-P-1000-02T
10	Align windshield (1) in body opening	Helper required. Position guide pin at top center of windshield (1) on mount of body flange.	AR67.10-P-1000-04RQ
11	Apply adhesive material	Install windshield (1) within 10 minutes after applying adhesive material to body flange. Otherwise the adhesive force of the adhesive material starts to decrease.	AR67.10-P-1000-08P
		Uniformly apply adhesive bead at a height of approx. 13 mm. Helper required. Repair kit for installing windshields, 1-component adhesive	*BR00.45-Z-1135-02A

12	Install windshield (1) and fasten with suitable adhesive tape	Helper required. The curing time of the adhesive material is approx. 2 h measured from the time the windshield (1) is installed.	AR67.10-P-1503-01RQ
13	Install detachable parts in area of windshield (1)	After curing time of adhesive material.	AR67.10-P-1050RG
	Refinish
14	Remove cover from dashboard
15	Close side window in driver door	After curing time of adhesive material.
16	Remove all adhesive strips	After curing time of adhesive material.
	Cleaning
17	Clean windshield (1) and vehicle interior	After curing time of adhesive material.
	Code
18	Initialize rain/light sensor (B38/2) with STAR DIAGNOSE
		For this purpose, the engine hood and the driver door must be closed.	AD00.00-P-2000-04B
