| 3 | Remove screws (3) on left and right of rear axle (2) and remove brake cover plates (4). | Only when replacing the rear axle. | |
| 4 | Remove left rear axle RPM sensor (L6/3) and right rear axle RPM sensor (L6/4). | Only when replacing the rear axle. | AR42.40-P-0820XG |
| 5 | Cut outer brake hoses (5) at the locations (arrows) marked in the diagram, seal with suitable stop plugs and remove together with brake calipers. | Only when replacing the rear axle. | AR42.10-P-0013XG |

| 12 | Unscrew banjo bolt (10), remove sealing rings and expose bleed line (11). | ||
| 13 | Detach electrical wiring harnesses (12) from rear axle (2) on left and right. | ||

| 18 | Detach lower trailing arm (17) from rear axle (2). | If this is not observed, the wheel alignment measurement must be performed. |

| 19 | Lower rear axle (2) until springs (18) are unloaded and can be removed. | Otherwise, they will be damaged. |
