| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove left or right wheel and tire assembly from rear axle. | AR40.10-P-1102XG | |
| 2 | Support rear axle at axle tube. | ||
| 3 | Disconnect electrical connectors (1). | Model 463 as of model year 2019 with code A20 (Suspension with Adaptive Damping system) | |
| 4 | Remove the screw (3). | *BA32.25-P-1003-03E | |
| 5 | Unscrew nut (4) and remove screw (5). | *BA32.25-P-1004-03E | |
| 6 | Remove shock absorber (6). | ||
| Check | |||
| 7 | Check shock absorber (6) for damage and leakage. | Checking shock absorber | AR32.25-P-0121XG |
| 8 | Install in reverse order. |
