Replacement of instrument cluster, input values
The following must always be observed when replacing the instrument cluster:
NOTE:
- Instrument cluster must always be coded.
- Note the values indicated in measuring value blocks 10... 15 on the VAG1551 scan tool before replacing.
- Note odometer reading before replacing and input according to instructions.
- In countries with speedometers calibrated in miles, adaptation of the Service Reminder Indicator (SRI) can be performed in miles.
Perform the following steps after replacing instrument cluster:

- Adaptation of fuel gauge sender resistance range, see ADAPTATION OF FUEL GAUGE SENDER RESISTANCE RANGE (for altered fixed value)
