Remove/install condenser - AR83.30-P-6540CW

DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by welding or soldering work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant. Do not perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated areas. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been drained. AS83.00-Z-0001-01A 
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install

Open and close coupling
IMPORTANT Installation: Traces and small oil filling quantities in the charge air system come from the crankcase ventilation system and are not a cause for complaint.
Ensure that both charge air hoses (13) are seated correctly on charge air cooler (12)

14 Lift cooler (10) together with condenser (11) and move toward rear    
15 Disconnect plug from outside temperature sensor (B14) and expose line

IMPORTANT Installation: Ensure that lower air duct segment (14) is seated correctly.
 
16.2 Unclip charge air cooler (12) (arrows A) and remove MODEL 204.0/2 with ENGINE 271, 642, 646, 651

IMPORTANT Installation: Ensure that charge air cooler (12) is seated correctly.
 
16.3 Detach lower air duct segment (14) from charge air cooler (12); remove lower air duct segment (14) and charge air cooler (12) separately MODEL 207 with ENGINE 642

IMPORTANT Installation: Ensure that charge air cooler (12) and lower air duct segment (14) are seated correctly.
 
16.4 Remove low-temperature radiator MODEL 212.0/2 with ENGINE 272.983

IMPORTANT Tie low-temperature radiator to one side with coolant hoses connected.  
17 Disconnect electrical connector (7) from refrigerant pressure sensor (B12)    
18 Remove refrigerant line (8) from condenser (11) IMPORTANTRemoval:  Close off opening of refrigerant line (8) and condenser 11) using suitable plug.
IMPORTANT Installation: Replace sealing ring of refrigerant line (8).
 
19 Unclip side air duct segment (15) in area of condenser (11) and swivel to one side IMPORTANT MODEL 207 with ENGINE 272, 273, 642
The side air duct segments (15) must be removed completely.
 
20 Remove refrigerant line (18) from condenser (11) IMPORTANTRemoval:  Close off opening of refrigerant line (18) and condenser (11) using suitable plug.
IMPORTANT Installation: Replace sealing ring of refrigerant line (18).
 
21.1 Unclip oil cooler (20) from mounts at condenser (11) (arrows C) MODEL 204.0/2 with ENGINE 271, 272, 642, 646, 651 with CODE 427 (7-speed automatic transmission)

22 Unclip condenser (11) from mounts at cooler (10) (arrows D)    
23 Guide condenser (11) downwards and out of side mounts at cooler (10) and remove it toward top IMPORTANT Helper required.  
24 Install in the reverse order    
25 Calibrate DISTRONIC system MODEL 204.0/2 with ENGINE 271, 272, 642, 646, 651 with CODE 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS)
