REP-TAT-P-2400-02 Install automatic transmission (8-speed, AISIN GA8F22AW)

- Note and follow safety instructions on containers.
- Conduct all work in appropriate personal protective equipment only.
- Make sure the bore (1) of the flywheel is accessible from the recess of the oil pan.
- Check for correct fit of lining sleeves (2) .
- Rotate the torque converter until the bore of the torque converter is flush with the bore of the flywheel.
- Replace the bolts (arrows).
Parts : screw
- Flange-mount automatic transmission to engine and screw on.
- Tighten screws (arrows).
- Crank engine with special tool 0 493 380 (11 6 480) at vibration damper in direction of rotation.
- Replace nuts (1).
Parts : Nuts
- Tighten all 6 nuts (1) of the torque converter.

- Replace screws (1).

- Screw the transmission onto the transmission mount with screws (1) .

- Replace the screw (1) .

- Screw the ground strap (2) onto the transmission with the screw (1) .

- Fasten the clamps (2) to the transmission with the wiring harness (3) .
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.

- Slide the coolant hoses (2) onto the transmission oil cooler (3) .
- Secure hose clamps (1) .

- Slide the coolant hoses onto the transmission oil cooler and engage the detents (1) .
- Loosening the luggage strap (3) .
- Remove special tools 0 490 133 (00 2 030) and 0 495 827 (23 4 150).
- Insert the battery tray (5) .
- Replace screws (1).

- Tighten down screws (1) .

- Attach the cable harness (4) to the battery tray (5) .
- Insert the control unit (3) into the holder.
- Insert the partition panel (2) for the battery into the holder.
