Roof Antenna Removal/Installation
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the following parts:
- Front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- B-pillar lower trim (See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Adjuster anchor cover (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Upper anchor of the front seat belt (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- B-pillar upper trim (See B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Sub-trunk (See SUB-TRUNK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Third-row seat (See THIRD-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt (See THIRD-ROW SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Cargo compartment light (See CARGO COMPARTMENT LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk side trim (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear header trim (See REAR HEADER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Second-row seat belt upper anchor installation bolt (See SECOND-ROW SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Assist handle (See ASSIST HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Partially peel back the seaming welts.
- Partially peel back the headliner.NOTE:
- Be careful not to make a fold-seam in the headliner.
- Disconnect the antenna feeder No.2.
AM/FM/SIRIUS type
- Remove the clip.
- Remove the nut.
- Press the roof antenna tabs in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure and remove the roof antenna in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure.
- Remove the antenna rod.
AM/FM/SIRIUS type
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- After installation, verify that the roof antenna is installed to the roof panel without any gaps.
