Trunk Side Trim Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (right-side only)
  2. Partially peel back the seaming welts.
  3. Remove the following parts:
    1. Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Sub-trunk (See SUB-TRUNK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Third-row seat (See THIRD-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt (See THIRD-ROW SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Cargo compartment light (See CARGO COMPARTMENT LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the screws A.

  5. Remove the service hole cover, then remove the screw B.
  6. Remove the bolt C, then remove the cargo net hook.

  7. Hold C-pillar trim with your hands and pull the trunk side trim in the direction of the arrow (1), (2), (3), (4) and remove hooks A and guides B.

  8. Pull the trunk side trim in the direction of arrow, while remove the clips C and pin D.

  9. Remove the trunk side trim.
  10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
