C-Pillar Trim Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Partially peel back the seaming welts.
  3. Remove the following parts:
    1. Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Sub-trunk (See SUB-TRUNK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Third-row seat (See THIRD-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt (See THIRD-ROW SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Cargo compartment light (See CARGO COMPARTMENT LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    7. Trunk side trim (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    8. Rear header trim (See REAR HEADER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    9. Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt (See THIRD-ROW SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    10. Second-row seat belt upper anchor installation bolt (See SECOND-ROW SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the fasteners A.

  5. Pull the C-pillar trim in the direction of the arrow in the order of (1), (2) and remove the C-pillar trim while detaching the clips B and pin C.

  6. Slide the C-pillar trim in the direction of the arrow (3) shown in the figure and remove the C-pillar trim from clip D.
  7. After removing the C-pillar trim, remove clips D from the body.
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
