Disassembly [09/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BACK DOOR CENTER GARNISH 

    HINT: 

    As the illustration shown is an example, the actual details may differ.

  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH

      *A w/ Illumination - -
      Place Hand Here Remove in this Direction
  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
  4. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK COVER

  5. REMOVE BACK DOOR FINISH COVER RH

      *a Door Control Switch Cover - -
      1. Apply protective tape to the back door trim board assembly as shown in the illustration.
      2. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides.
      3. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the door control switch cover.
      4. Disconnect the 2 connectors to remove the back door finish cover RH.
  6. REMOVE BACK DOOR FINISH COVER LH

      1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the back door finish cover LH.
  7. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  9. REMOVE BACK DOOR WEIGHT

  10. REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH 

    See step  8

  11. REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
  12. REMOVE REAR INNER MIRROR CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Digital Inner Mirror) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  13. REMOVE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU 

    See step  8

  14. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY WITH COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  15. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (w/ Back Door Speaker) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  16. REMOVE STEREO SPEAKER BRACKET LH (w/ Back Door Speaker) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  17. REMOVE STEREO SPEAKER BRACKET RH (w/ Back Door Speaker) 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
  18. REMOVE HOLE PLUG 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  19. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
  20. REMOVE REAR SIDE SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  21. REMOVE REAR SIDE SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
  22. REMOVE REAR WASHER NOZZLE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  23. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM HEAD CAP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  24. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  25. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10
  26. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR GROMMET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  27. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

  28. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY
