1	Check whether vehicle is affected by measure. If code FR1 (Rear camera, non-foldable) or IX1 (Special control purchasing logistics 1) is present in vehicle documentation (VeDoc), ↓ continue with operation step 3. If neither the code FR1 (Rear camera, non-foldable) or the IX1 (Special control purchasing logistics 1) are present in VeDoc, ↓ continue with operation step 4.
	Remove code
3	Remove code FR1 (Rear camera, non-foldable) or code IX1 (Special control purchasing logistics 1) in vehicle documentation (VeDoc).	Only carry out if code FR1 (Rear camera, non-foldable) or code IX1 (Special control purchasing logistics 1) is present in VeDoc. The code FR1 (Rear camera, non-foldable) or code IX1 (Special control purchasing logistics 1) can only be removed from VeDoc by a user with write permissions. 	Install
14	Route electrical connector (2) to holder (3).	To do so, detach cable tie (arrow A) from electric line (4). The electrical connector (2) for the camera cover (KAB) control unit (N144) is strapped down in the lower area of the D-pillar. Dispose of detached cable ties (arrow A) properly. To do so, observe the applicable legal requirements and specifications of the relevant country.
15	Connect electrical connector (2) to camera cover (KAB) control unit (N144).
16	Retrofit camera cover (KAB) control unit (N144) in holder (3).	Screw in bolts (2) to do this.
17	Install in the reverse sequence.	Operation steps 13 to 4.1.
	Perform initial startup
18	Install the 12 V charger.
	Maintaining on-board electrical system voltage when performing test and diagnosis work on vehicle	A sufficient power supply for the on-board electrical system battery must be guaranteed throughout the entire work procedure. Otherwise any undervoltage that occurs may damage the control units. Follow the operating instructions for the 12 V charger.
