	Remove/install
1	Remove transmission with torque converter	Engine 176 in model 463 with transmission 722.9 up to model year 2019	AR27.10-P-0500GW
2	Remove rear radial shaft sealing ring		AR03.20-P-3003MNA
3	Remove oil pan bottom section		AR01.45-P-7555MNF
4	Disconnect electrical connection (1)
5	Unclip electric line (2) at oil pan (3)
6	Undo screw/bolts (4) on oil pan (3)
7	Remove clamping device for poly-V belt of alternator (5)		AR13.20-P-0010MNA
8	Remove clamping device holder for poly-V belt of alternator (5)		AR13.20-P-0011MNA
9	Remove front radial shaft sealing ring		AR03.20-P-3002MNA
10	Detach refrigerant compressor and lay down to the side with connected lines	Engine 176 in model 463 as of model year 2016 up to model year 2019	AR83.55-P-5310GW
11	Remove bolts (6)	Bolt, oil pan top section to crankcase	*BA01.45-P-1005-01Y
12	Pry off oil pan (3) from crankcase (7) and remove downward		AR01.45-P-7500-04MNA
	Notes on sealant path for oil pan		AH01.45-P-0001-01C
		Do not drive any tools between the crankcase (7) and the oil pan bottom section (3) to pry off The sealing surfaces can be damaged otherwise. : Apply sealant to sealing surface of oil pan (3) and, in doing so, observe notes on sealant path on the oil pan (3). If necessary, heat oil pan(3) in the area of the sealing surfaces with a heat gun.

13	Remove lower guide pulley for poly-V belt of refrigerant compressor	When installing a new oil pan (3).

14	Remove crankshaft Hall sensor	When installing a new oil pan (3).

	Clean
15	Clean sealing surfaces on oil pan (3) and crankcase (7)		AR01.00-P-0050-01A
		Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper. The sealing surface will be damaged otherwise.
		Loctite 7200	*BR00.45-Z-1038-04A
		Loctite 7063 (400 ml) cleaning spray	*BR00.45-Z-1046-04A
16	Install in the reverse order
	Check
17	Check engine oil level; correct if necessary

	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
18	Carry out engine test run, checking the engine for leaktightness and proper operation
