Remove/Install Front Bumper - AR88.20-P-2000RG

DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
WARNING Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Open engine hood and position upright.   AR88.40-P-1000RG 
2 Remove lower engine compartment lining Model 190.381 AR61.20-P-1105RGB
    Model 190 (except 190.381)
IMPORTANT Only remove front section.

3 Release and disconnect the electrical connector from the front bumper parking system (X26/27).    
4 Detach the front section of the fender liner (3) in the fender. Model 190
with code M032 (Black Series version)
AR88.10-P-1300RGB 
    Model 190
except code M032 (Black Series version)
IMPORTANT Loosen only until bolts (2) are accessible.
AR88.10-P-1300RG 
5 Remove screws (2) on the left and right side of vehicle.    
6 Unscrew the screws (5) on the left and right side of the vehicle.    
7 Remove screws (6).    
8 Guide the front bumper (1) out of the left and right holder and remove. IMPORTANT Aid of helper required.  
9 Install in the reverse order.    
INSPECT Check     
10 Check gaps.   AR60.00-P-0700-01RG
    HAND-HELD TESTER Gap dimension, fender to bumper lamp unit *BE60.00-P-1005-01EA 
    HAND-HELD TESTER Gap dimension, lamp unit to bumper *BE60.00-P-1004-01EA 
    HAND-HELD TESTER Gap dimension, engine hood to bumper *BE60.00-P-1001-01EA 
    SPECIAL TOOL Feeler gauge
If a problem occurs,

Adjust bumper (1).
