	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

	Remove/install
1	Raise vehicle.		AR00.60-P-1000RG
2	Tighten screws (3).	Front engine compartment paneling (1) and center engine compartment paneling (4) can be removed separately.
		Bolt, mount for front engine compartment paneling	*BA61.40-P-1001-01E
3	Unscrew bolts (2) and remove front engine compartment lining (1).	When removing front engine compartment paneling (1). Model 190 (except 190.381) with code M030 (GT R version) Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function. Model 190 (except 190.381) with code M030 (GT R version) Aid of helper required.
		Bolt, mount for front engine compartment paneling	*BA61.40-P-1001-01E
4	Release and disconnect electrical connector (12).	Model 190 (except 190.381) with code M030 (GT R version) When removing front engine compartment paneling (1).
5	Remove screws (5).
6	Unscrew bolts (9) and remove left diagonal strut (7) and/or right diagonal strut (8).	When removing center engine compartment paneling (4). : Do not tighten screws (9) until vehicle is in ready-to-drive condition (e. g. on a 4- post vehicle lift).
		Bolt, diagonal strut mount to front axle carrier/longitudinal member	*BA61.10-P-1004-01I
7	Unscrew the bolts (6) and remove the center engine compartment lining (4).	When removing center engine compartment paneling (4).
		Pan head screw/screw, attachment of center engine compartment lining	*BA61.40-P-1003-01E
8	Install in the reverse order.
