Front Oil Seal Replacement: Notes

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the ignition coils. (See IGNITION COIL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the spark plugs. (See SPARK PLUG REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the ventilation hose. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor connector.
- Disconnect the oil control valve (OCV) connector.
- Remove the cylinder head cover. (See TIMING CHAIN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the front wheel and tire (RH). (See GENERAL PROCEDURES (SUSPENSION) .)
- Set the front mudguard (RH) out of the way. (See FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the splash shield (RH).
- Remove the aerodynamic under cover No. 2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the drive belt. (See DRIVE BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Loosen the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor installation bolts. (See CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the drive shaft (RH) from joint shaft, set the drive shaft (RH) out of the way. (ATX) (See DRIVE SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
