Auto Test Procedure

  1. Locate air suspension switch on left side of trunk and turn to OFF position. Connect battery charger to vehicle during testing as compressor operation may deplete battery power.
  2. Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to diagnostic connector on the front of right front shock tower. Select AIR SUSPENSION AUTO TEST from scan tester menu. Ensure doors are closed and trunk is open.
  3. Turn air suspension switch in trunk to OFF then ON position. Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
  4. NOTE: DTC 10 will display indicating Auto Test is running. Any faults discovered will stop test and will be displayed on NGS tester.
  5. When DTC 12 is displayed, open driver's door and turn steering wheel 1/4 turn in both directions. Exit vehicle and close driver's door. Open and close passenger's door. Press trigger on NGS tester to continue test.
  6. Read displayed DTCs. If DTC 11 is displayed, vehicle has passed Auto Test. If other DTCs are displayed system faults exist and need to be serviced. If unable to enter Auto Test, perform TEST A.
