41 35 101 Stripping Operations - Replacing Rear Left Side Panel (Non-Hybrid)

- Clamp off battery negative lead (61 20 900 )
- Remove bumper trim (51 12 156 )
- Remove bumper support (51 12 050 )
- Remove center bumper guide (51 12 825 )
- Remove left bumper guide (51 12 828 )
- Remove luggage compartment floor trim panel (51 47 101 )
- Remove tail panel trim at top (51 46 050 )
- Remove left luggage compartment wheel arch panel (51 47 151 )
- Partially detach rear lid seal
- Remove left rear lid (63 21 180 )
- Remove trim panel for left roof pillar (51 43 251 )
- Remove rear lid (41 62 000 )
- Remove left lock striker (51 21 003 )
- Remove rear left door sill cover strip (51 47 030 )
- Remove rear left rocker panel trim (51 47 072 )
- Remove left backrest side section (52 26 008 )
- Remove trim on C-pillar at bottom left
- Remove rear left door edge protection (51 72 010 )
- Remove rear window (51 31 200 )
- Remove rear left wheel arch cover (51 71 041 )
- Remove panel for cover on left side member (51 71 447 )
- Remove rear left door
- Remove trim strip on left roof frame (51 13 280 )
- Partially release wiring harness
Release wiring harness holder (1).
Release expanding rivet (2) and remove cover (3).
Disconnect plug connections for control units.
Remove holder (1) for control units.
Release latch mechanisms and remove ventilation (2).
Release water drain hose (3) for slide/tilt sunroof.
