41 34 041 Stripping Operations - Replacing Tail Panel

- Remove BATTERY
- Remove NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE
- Remove BUMPER TRIM
- Remove BUMPER CARRIER
- Remove CENTER BUMPER GUIDE
- Remove GUIDE FOR REAR LEFT AND RIGHT BUMPER
- Remove BACKREST SIDE SECTION AT REAR SEAT BACKREST ON LEFT AND RIGHT
- Remove TRIM PANEL FOR REAR LEFT AND RIGHT ROOF PILLAR
- Remove TRIM PANEL FOR D-PILLAR ON LEFT AND RIGHT
- Remove SHOULDER TRIM PANEL ON LEFT AND RIGHT
- Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR TRIM PANEL AT FRONT AND REAR
- Remove LEFT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH PANEL
- Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL ON RIGHT SIDE WALL
- Remove RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH PANEL
- Remove TAIL PANEL TRIM AT TOP
- Remove ELECTRIC MOTOR FROM SERVO LOCK FOR TAILGATE
- Remove REAR LID LOCK
- Remove STORAGE COMPARTMENT FOR FIRST-AID KIT AND WARNING TRIANGLE
- Remove BOTH REAR LIGHTS
- Lower rear silencer
- Remove heat shields
- Partially detach tailgate seal
Partially release the insulating mat (1) and tie to one side.
Release wiring harnesses (1) at attachment points (2) and tie to one side.
Release insulating mat (3) and tie to one side.
Lever out expanding rivet (1).
Release oddments tray (3) in areas (2) in direction of arrow and remove.
Release plastic nuts (1) and remove facing (2).
Upholstery removal for right-hand side is identical.
