51 43 320 Removing and installing/replacing trim panel for D-pillar left (right)

Special tools required:

00 9 325

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Necessary preliminary work:

REMOVE trim panel for roof pillar at rear(C-pillar)

Left side:

Remove FLAP IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL on left

Right side:

Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL ON RIGHT SIDE WALL

Release screws (1) and (2).

Release clip (3) from trim panel (4) using special tool 00 9 325 .

Disconnect plug connection of luggage compartment light and feed out the trim panel (4).

Installation note:

Clips (1) and marked guides must not be damaged or missing.

If necessary, replace faulty clips (1).

Lip of edge protection (1) in area of trim panel (2) must not be trapped, feed out if necessary.

Replacement:

Modify LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT
