Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - ] ).
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 08/2017] Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2017 - ] ).
- REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUBASSEMBLY

- REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24
- REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUBASSEMBLY LH

- REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUBASSEMBLY RH

- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUBASSEMBLY

- REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

- REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON TRIM PACKING A

- DISCONNECT VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19
- DISCONNECT OIL COOLER TUBE

- REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the generator connector.
- Remove the terminal cap.
- Remove the nut and disconnect the generator wire from terminal B.
- Detach the clamp and disconnect the generator wire.
- Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket from generator assembly.
- Remove the 3 bolts, nut and generator assembly.
- Remove the stud bolt from the cylinder block.
- Disconnect the generator connector.
