Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUBASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and screw.

    2. Turn the clip indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove the front fender splash shield subassembly LH.
  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUBASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and 2 screws.

    2. Turn the clip indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove the front fender splash shield subassembly RH.
  3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL 
    1. Remove the 7 clips and upper radiator support seal.

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT COVER LH 
    1. Put protective tape around the headlight cover LH.

    2. Detach the 5 claws and remove the headlight cover LH.

  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER 
    1. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 6 screws.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other side.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and 4 bolts.

    3. Remove the 3 screws.

    4. Remove the 3 clips.

    5. Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other side.

    6. Detach the 3 claws.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other side.

    7. Remove the front bumper cover.

    8. Disconnect the No. 4 engine room wire connector.
    9. Disconnect the front television camera assembly connector.
    10. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.

    11. w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System:

      Disconnect the connector

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUBASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 8 nuts and front bumper reinforcement subassembly.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 EXTENSION SUBASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 4 nuts and front bumper No. 2 reinforcement subassembly LH.

  10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 EXTENSION SUBASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 3 claws and remove the front bumper side support LH.
  12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] )

  14. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER UPPER CENTER RETAINER 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the front bumper upper center retainer.
