External Connection Terminal: Removal: Front

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the driver monitoring unit. (Model with driver monitoring system) Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>DRIVER MONITORING UNIT>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the panel assembly center. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTOR CLUSTER>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the cover LWR driver. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER COVER>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the panel starter switch. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>PUSH BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH>REMOVAL .
  6. Remove the wireless charger assembly. (Model with wireless charger) Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>WIRELESS CHARGER>REMOVAL .
  7. Remove the grip. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT LEVER>REMOVAL .
  8. Remove the console box assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL .
  9. Remove the cover center side. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTER CONSOLE>REMOVAL .
  10. Remove the tray center UPR.
    1. Release the clips.

    2. Disconnect connectors.
    3. Remove the tray center UPR.
  11. Remove the AUX unit assembly.
    1. Release the claw.
    2. Remove the AUX unit assembly.
