Center Console: Removal

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
NOTE: Components: Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>INSTRUMENT PANEL .
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the wireless charger assembly. (Model with wireless charger) Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>WIRELESS CHARGER>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the grip. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT LEVER>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the console box assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL 
  5. Remove the tray assembly center LWR.
    CAUTION: Be careful of the clip direction when removing. The tray assembly center LWR may be damaged.

    (a) Forward
    (b) Downward
    1. Release the clips.
    2. Remove the tray assembly center LWR.

  6. Remove the cover center side.
    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Release the clips.
    3. Remove the cover center side.
      NOTE: Release the clips on the RH side in the same procedure as on the LH side.
